Nikko is a quick train ride north of Tokyo. It rained the full day while I wandered around, which definitely added to the magic of it. It was quite a shock to the system not to be flocked in people, especially after the hussle and bustle of South East Asia. To turn around and see no one infront or behind me left me wondering if I was even allowed to walk these paths! The shrine grounds were wonderful too, and the screaming dragon demo was well worth experiencing.
